Moonart To Shine at BCTF
You don’t have to be very observant to notice that I haven’t posted on here for a while but….I do have an excuse….honestly!
At the end of last year, I was honoured to have been asked to take my work to Harrogate and exhibit at the British Craft Trade Fair (BCTF) to be held between 12th & 14th April. Of course, I leapt at the opportunity!
The BCTF has been going for over 35 years and takes place at the Great Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate, Unlike other craft exhibitions, it is exclusively visited by trade buyers and showcases only the work of British and Irish makers. There are no mass-manufactured items on display, or any work from overseas, so it’s a British Craft Fair in its truest meaning.
Having recovered from the shock of my eagerness to accept, the reality of the situation started to set in. My brain went into overdrive!
Would I have enough artwork to show? How would I display it? What insurance do I need? How would I transport everything to Harrogate? Do I need lighting? Where will I stay? And…..most importantly: What the heck will I wear!
Well, four months later and with less than two weeks to go. I think I have solved most of the above doubts but I still reserve the right to panic over the last one!
However, I am almost ready to leave and can’t wait to get there.
If you are a buyer, please come and visit me on stand 401 (near the meeting and coffee area).
If you need an invitation to visit, please click on the invitation image below to download a .pdf of the invite.
If you can’t make the fair, I’ll let you know all about it when (if) I’ve recovered.
Until then……I’m going to remain busy stressing!
